- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a small bowl, combine warm milk, water, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and cold butter until crumbly. Stir in the yeast mixture until combined.
- Roll out the dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface. Spread apple pie filling over half the rectangle, fold the other half over to seal.
- Brush with egg wash if desired, then bake for 22–25 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely on a wire rack.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and water until smooth. Drizzle over cooled Kringle.
