Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces sliced provolone cheese
- 2.25 ounces canned sliced black olives
- 16 ounces dried spaghetti
- 16 ounces marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, olive oil, parsley flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper; mix well.
- Roll mixture into 2-inch balls and place on the baking sheet with space between each.
- Bake meatballs for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cut provolone cheese into circles; place on top of each meatball with a slice of black olive as the pupil.
- Return to oven for an additional 2-3 minutes to melt cheese.
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions and heat marinara sauce separately.
