  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup porridge oats
  • 125 g butter (cold or melted)
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (375°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Peel, core, and chop the apples into bite-sized pieces. Place in the baking dish and mix with flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cold butter, and salt. Use your fingers to mix until crumbly.
  4. Spread the crumble topping evenly over the apple mixture in the baking dish.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
