  • 1 small yellow onion (diced)
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • parsley (chopped for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente (about 8 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter with vegetable oil. Sauté diced onion until translucent, then add minced garlic.
  3. Add shrimp seasoned with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook until shrimp are pink.
  4. Lower heat and pour in heavy cream; whisk in parmesan cheese gradually until smooth.
  5. Combine cooked fettuccine with the shrimp and sauce; toss to coat well.
  6. Serve hot garnished with chopped parsley.
