  • Red food coloring
  • Blue food coloring

Instructions

  3. Gradually add eggs and egg whites; mix well after each addition.
  4. Blend in vanilla and buttermilk until smooth.
  5. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; mix on low speed until just incorporated.
  6. Divide batter into three bowls: one for plain batter, color one red and the other blue.
  7. Alternate layering in the bundt pan starting with plain batter, then red, followed by blue until all batter is used.
  8. Bake for 50–70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
