  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 T pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 T melted butter
  • 2 T flour
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. In another bowl, combine pumpkin puree, milk, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gently fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, melted butter, flour, cinnamon, and pecans for the topping.
  6. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan; sprinkle half the topping over it. Repeat with remaining batter and topping.
  7. Bake for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow cooling in the pan for ten minutes before slicing and serving.
