  • 1 pound penne or rotini pasta
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, sriracha, and red pepper flakes; set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt and pepper; sear for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. Sauté bell peppers, onion, and garlic in the same skillet for about 5 minutes until tender.
  5. Return steak to the skillet and pour in the sauce; stir well and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Toss cooked pasta into the skillet until well coated with sauce; warm through for about one minute.
  7. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
