  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni in salted water until al dente; reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter; sear chicken until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add heavy cream to the skillet; simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted; adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Return chicken and cooked rigatoni to the skillet; toss to coat in sauce and simmer for an additional minute.
