  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cilantro leaves
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 12 soft shell corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Thaw shrimp according to package instructions. In a mixing bowl, combine chili powder, paprika, kosher salt, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, olive oil, and lime juice. Add thawed shrimp and toss to coat.
  2. Heat skillet over medium-high heat and cook shrimp for about 3 minutes on each side until pink.
  3. In another bowl, mix sour cream, cilantro leaves, lime juice, and salt until creamy.
  4. Warm tortillas in a skillet or microwave. Spread sauce on each tortilla; add cooked shrimp and top with shredded cabbage and sliced avocado.
