  • 1 lb sliced corned beef
  • 2 cups well-drained sauerkraut
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese (or Gruyère)
  • 4 cups stale rye bread, cubed
  • 1 cup Thousand Island dressing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking dish.
  2. Layer half of the rye bread cubes in the bottom of the dish.
  3. Spread half of the corned beef evenly over the bread.
  4. Top with half of the sauerkraut and half of the Swiss cheese.
  5. Repeat layering with the remaining ingredients.
  6. Drizzle Thousand Island dressing over the top layer and bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
