- ½ cup cold water
- 1 tsp cotton candy flavoring
- Food coloring (pink, blue, or purple)
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ½ cup cornstarch
Instructions
- Bloom the gelatin by sprinkling it over ½ cup of cold water in a bowl; let sit for 5-10 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine granulated sugar, corn syrup, and water; heat until sugar dissolves and reaches 240°F.
- Slowly pour the hot syrup into the bloomed gelatin while mixing on low speed; gradually increase to high speed and whip for about 10-12 minutes until thick.
- Add cotton candy flavoring and food coloring during whipping.
- Spread mixture into a greased 9×9-inch pan and smooth the top; let it set at room temperature for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Once firm, cut into squares and coat with powdered sugar and cornstarch to prevent sticking.
