Description

Chinese Ground Beef and Cabbage Stir-Fry is a quick, flavorful dish that brings the savory essence of Asian cuisine right to your dinner table. This one-pan meal combines tender ground beef with crisp cabbage, enhanced by aromatic garlic and ginger, all tossed in a light soy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 4 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by mincing garlic and ginger, and slicing cabbage into thin strips.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Cook the ground beef for 5-7 minutes until browned, breaking up clumps with a spatula.
  4. Add minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Stir in sliced cabbage and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly wilted but still crisp.
  6. Pour in low-sodium soy sauce; mix well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Drizzle sesame oil over the stir-fry before serving and garnish with chopped green onions.
