  • 2 Granny Smith Apples (cubed)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided)
  • 2 cups pretzels
  • 25 caramel squares

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet (13×18) with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine water and lemon juice.
  3. Core and chop apples into cubes; place in lemon water to prevent browning.
  4. Melt 2 cups chocolate chips in the microwave until smooth.
  5. Spread melted chocolate evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Press pretzels into the chocolate layer.
  7. Drain and pat dry apple cubes; set aside.
  8. Melt caramels with a teaspoon of water until smooth.
  9. Pour melted caramel over pretzels and layer dried apple cubes on top.
  10. Drizzle remaining melted chocolate over apples.
  11. Refrigerate until set, then cut into pieces.
