  • 1 1/2 tbsp date paste (or syrup, or pure maple syrup or honey; use date paste for Whole30)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup light olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp rendered Turkey Bacon fat
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries (fruit-sweetened for Whole30)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients before cooking to streamline the process.
  2. Cook turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy; drain on paper towels.
  3. Toss shredded Brussels sprouts with turkey bacon fat and cooked bacon.
  4. Toast hazelnuts in the same skillet until golden.
