  • 3 large Bosc pears
  • 2 1/2 oz Danish blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 12 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp Aleppo pepper
  • Fresh thyme sprigs
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Halve the pears lengthwise and remove cores. Place cut-side up in a cast iron skillet; drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes until tender.
  4. Remove from oven, stuff each pear half with blue cheese, walnuts, and thyme. Return to oven for another 8-10 minutes until cheese melts.
  5. Mix honey with Aleppo pepper; drizzle over stuffed pears before serving.
