  • 23 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar mixed with ¼ cup water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Rinse and pat dry the ribs; remove the silver skin from the bone side.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the ribs and coat evenly with the dry rub mixture. Wrap tightly in aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight).
  5. Place wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake for 3 hours.
  6. Unwrap ribs, brush with barbecue sauce, and bake uncovered at 375°F (190°C) for an additional 20 minutes until caramelized.
