Ingredients
- 2–3 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar mixed with ¼ cup water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Rinse and pat dry the ribs; remove the silver skin from the bone side.
- In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Drizzle olive oil over the ribs and coat evenly with the dry rub mixture. Wrap tightly in aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight).
- Place wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake for 3 hours.
- Unwrap ribs, brush with barbecue sauce, and bake uncovered at 375°F (190°C) for an additional 20 minutes until caramelized.
