Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 20–25 slices pepperoni
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara
- 1 large egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Let the pizza dough rest at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and place a baking sheet inside to heat up.
- Divide the dough in half and roll each portion into an 8-inch circle.
- In a bowl, mix mozzarella, ricotta, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- On one half of each dough circle, spread pizza sauce and place the cheese mixture on top.
- Add pepperoni slices over the filling.
- Fold the dough over to form a half-moon shape and seal edges by crimping with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg and cut small slits for steam release.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
